Blue Water Acres' fractional ownership development was in need of an elegant and informative website.  The final product is a site that is fresh and easy to navigate, with a clear 'call to action' visible as soon as you arrive.  A dash of flash adds a bit of movement making the site feel dynamic and presenting a selection of imagery which transitions into a great gallery.  Automated rotating testimonials also give visitors a personal connection to those owners already having purchased fractions in the property.

Blue Water Acres Resort came to eCommunities again following the successful launch of their Fractional Ownership website.  They were looking to revitalize their resort site now with the primary goals of maintaining a family feel, simplyfy their navigation, and consolidate content.  All while maintaining their already good ranking in the search engines.  Anytime content goes through a major overhaul, rankings may be temporarily affected negatively, however we were not only able to provide them with the website they wanted, but we've increased their overal rankings in a number of key areas, all without any adjustments to their SEO efforts.  The design is fresh, the architecture is technically efficient and robust and the entire site is balanced for SEO.

The Cottages at Windermere House

The Cottages is a Fractional Ownership development on the grounds of the stately Muskoka icon, Windermere House.  This high quality development needed a website as part of the sales program and was designed to present an image of all of the best things that Windermere and Muskoka have to offer.  This includes a feeling of the history of the property whilst showcasing the new buildings and modern amenities.  Not to mention we had to produce this on a very tight timeline.  Without fail we were able to deliver everything they were looking for in a simple to navigate package on time and on budget.  The site includes flash slideshows on each page and an interactive gallery of both interior and exterior views.  While The Cottages is an extension of the Windermere property it is distinctly its own on the web.

Cottage Country Builders was looking to attract the right clientele with their new web presence.  Large imagery welcomes visitors and provides the thousand word intro you can't put into words.  The home page collages rotate randomly providing a different image at each visit giving a sense of change and variety.  The site includes a large categorized portfolio of projects with a flash thumbnail selector at the bottom of the page providing an easy jump point to any profile.  Each profile provides information as well as a full gallery of Interior and Exterior shots that visitors can cycle through in large format.

Cranberry Private Residence Club at Collingwood

The newest development property by Law Development is the Cranberry Private Residence club at Collingwood.  This new waterfront fractional ownership property in Collingwood, Ontario needed a marketing and sales website to help accelerate sales and visibility of the high quality property.  The sales team utilizes the ECMS Client Relationship Management Module to track prospective buyers, manage the sales process all the way through the purchase to the owners area access control.  The Core features of ECMS help to manage the many different image galleries and transitions from page to page as well as the content on those pages.

Do It In Muskoka

Doitinmuskoka.com is one of the most robust examples of the capabilities of ECMS. It uses a wide range of modules to provide a comprehensive view of the Muskoka region.  A multi-tiered category system is home to more than 2500 business listings containing contact information, integrated GPS info with Google Maps, and a whole range of additional details for those who've upgraded their listings.  The Relational Listing System allows for a number of upgraded listing types and makes managing such a large number a snap.  The events calendar covers events all over the region and at any one time has several hundred upcomming events.  The site uses the weather module to provide full 5 day forecasts sourced directly from Environment Canada, and updated every 30 minutes, and it uses the Skins module to change its appearance every 3 months to conincide with the changing seasons.  Doitinmuskoka has close to 10,000 pages of content and because of ECMS is able to be managed by only a single administrator.

Green For Life / GFL Waste

Green For Life, or GFL Waste is one of Canada's leading vertically integrated waste management companies serving customers across Canada and the Northern United States, from 18 locations across 4 provinces.  This very broad company actually began this process as 4 separate companies and with the help and guidance of eCommunities has brought them all under one roof so to speak.   All 4 companies are profiled within the site, but shown as a part of a greater family providing a wide range of integrated services.  Dynamic and helpful menus and footer links ensure that navigation throughout the site is consistent and simple.  GFL uses ECMS to manage all facets of the site from imagery to all page content, GPS enabled maps for all 18 locations, news, press releases and even human resources postings.  The site was also designed with further growth in mind, it's structure is expandable in more than one dimention and the menu system can easily accommodate further aquisitions as GFL continues to expand.

Muskoka KIA

Muskoka KIA's website like so many others had fallen into disrepair without anyone having the time or skill to maintain it.  eCommunities was contracted to design a fresh new site with a host of new information, updated content, a customized and interactive google map showing their location, several calls to action on services, test drives, etc.  But most importantly, we were to integrate revolving content that would always keep the site looking new and up to date.  Working with One-Eighty Corp to integrate the used vehicle inventory on the site has made it a valuable resource that requires no maintenance, solving the one root problem their previous site had.

Muskoka Snowmobile Association

Muskoka is one of the prime snowmobile destinations in the East and the Muskoka Snowmobile Region is the central hub for area information and trail conditions.  The MSR has been running ECMS for many years and has been able to expand its services and grow as ECMS itself grew.  Until recently, when the Govt of Ontario centralized all snowmobile permit sales, ECMS Ecommerce Server provided a full storefront for trail passes, donations, and club memberships.  It allowed visitors to store their permit information making it easy to purchase year after year, therefore helping thousands of riders get onto the trails every year.  We also worked with the MSR to tailor a completely new module specific to their needs that helps them manage their member clubs, and the entire trail network.  Trail conditions are updated regularily and are simple to manage thanks to group operations. They provide the single largest draw for traffic on the site which easily manages the thousands of daily visitors.

Rene M. Caisse Memorial Theatre

Although not involved during the design phase of the website, eCommunities was asked to begin the project with a quality build out based on the provided mockups.  The project eventually grew to include the integration of a complete content management system allowing the Theatre staff the opportunity to keep the many and oft changing events up to date.  ECMS provided a great opportunity to expand beyond their current limits and it was decided that a complete online ticket sales solution would be the greatest improvement to their services.  The ECMS Events Module was expanded and further integrated with the already robust ECMS Ecommerce Module to produce a very advanced, scaleable and flexible assigned seating system.

Russet House

Russet House recently retooled the entire business, leaving behind the classic potato in favour of the sweet potato, a quickly growing segment in the industry.  We were able to produce the new website with a great new design as fresh and lively as their products, with ECMS bringing up the back end allowing them to manage content in both English and French languages.  The many capabilities of the ECMS Core enabled us to keep the project budget low while they were busy with so many other aspects of the business change, and with good planning we've set it up to expand easily in the future as the business and their needs grow.

Wahta Springs

Wahta Springs, a bottled water producer, required a new website which they could update themselves and make available all the latest news on new services and developments at the plant.  Other things like product information, their latest certifications, etc. would also need to be manageable.  They also needed a 'refreshing' new design which we were able to produce along with the integrated ECMS to meet all their needs.  Their staff are able to update every part of the site using ECMS easily and effectively.
