One of eCommunities' most robust additions, the Ecommerce Module provides a secure, flexible and scalable environment to bring both yours and your members products and services to the internet. We have taken every effort to construct this module so that regardless of the size of online E-commerce presence, everyone will enjoy the same level of protection, and ease of use.
The Ecommerce module will automatically ensure that users are only accessing its features when connected using a secure connection, when they are not for whatever reason it will force them into a secure connection. Not only are pages limited to secure connections but no critical information is never stored or passed to the user other than the contents of their order which makes tampering with orders impossible.
A robust built in shopping cart is included with the Ecommerce module that is very easy to use. Let your visitors add and remove items at will, modify quantities, etc. and when they're ready to check out, a simple 3 step checkout will ensure they complete their purchase with ease. Purchasers can even store preferred payment methods for future orders. Available payment types include a range of credit cards, payment by cheque, business invoices or even on account, and each can be enabled or disabled for different user groups.
The product manager in the administration console is capable of quickly and easily categorizing and managing details for tens of thousands of products. Product details can be customized using the ECMS Template System so that different types of products will have form fields specifically addressing their features.
When paired with a subscription membership system, allow your registered users to create their own Coupons and Packages for use either in their own online stores or even at their places of business. Promotions are generated with a unique identification system allowing your members to track each and every coupon or package that is printed off the site by a visitor.
The product manager can manage the most complex product options, assorted products and packaged products. Set limits as to how many options, compatibility between options, minimum orders, pricing for bulk orders and more. This module will also allow you to create multiple price lists and assign user groups to those price lists giving you complete control over what pricing levels and purchasing options will be made available to your customers.
